The two-day festival, hosted by the Institute for Culture and Arts and the Diversity Committee at Seoul National University, featured exhibitions, seminars, performances, and a dance party celebrating contemporary artists. As the festival's graphic designer, I developed its visual identity, designing posters, banners, and other promotional materials.

    Project Context and Details
Nonbinary refers to identities or states that do not conform to binary systems. While "binary" means "composed of two parts," such as 0 and 1 in computer science, nonbinary symbolizes the possibilities between or beyond these opposites. Within the LGBTQIA+ community, the term primarily describes gender identities that reject the male/female binary, embracing the fluid and diverse spectrum of gender and self-expression.
Recognizing the limitations and biases inherent in binary classifications, the Seoul National University Center for Culture and Arts adopted "Nonbinary" as the theme for its inaugural festival. The event celebrated possibilities beyond conventional divides—between 0 and 1, male and female, or traditional and contemporary.
This two-day festival included exhibitions, seminars, performances, and a dance party, creating a space for artistic and cultural diversity. As the graphic designer, I shaped the event's visual identity, crafting posters, banners, and promotional materials to reflect its inclusive and dynamic ethos.
